The role of Operations Chef is a bit special. Your role is paramount to the immaculate delivery of all targets and the smooth operation of our kitchens in Jamie’s Italian.
Looking after 6-8 restaurants, your role is to support our Head Chefs in their development where you will be accountable for succession planning and recruitment, securing future talent and coaching and developing our highly talented chefs across the region.
You will be responsible for achieving world class health & safety standards and support the region in achieving food and labour margins; implementing and maintaining the best systems to achieve these. You will play a big part in the development of our new menus by leading the regional cook-offs and train in the new menus ensuring all our Head Chefs understand every element of our quality fresh ingredients, inspired by Jamie himself. • You lead by example, inspiring your Chefs to reach their own potential and setting standards that other restaurants aspire to. Your whole brigade will feel empowered and able to make suggestions.
• Your insistence on getting the details right doesn’t stop with the great food your kitchens produce – you’re meticulous in driving and reporting profit for your restaurants.
• You will ideally be a Head Chef who has overseen multi-site operations and have a rich understanding and experience of quality fresh food in high volume environments.

•Deliver the Jamie’s Italian magic, inspiring regular dishes and specials that are simple yet amazing.
•Inspire quality fresh ingredients, ensuring that we take a no compromise approach to every detail of our dishes.
•Lead by example, inspiring your Chefs and helping them achieve greatness in their kitchens.
•Train, recruit, appraise and mentor your Head Chefs to achieve their full potential and give them the confidence to train and develop others.
•Achieve world class standards by maintaining and training in systems that support the delivery of immaculate health & safety standards, food margins and labour control.
