A great opportunity to work in an outstanding operation and use the finest ingredients. A beautiful venue, professionally managed and very nicely appointed. My client is looking for a Pastry Chef with at least four years restaurant & high quality experience in MICHELIN/MULTI ROSETTE operations. You will have successfully demonstrated expertise at Three Rosette classification. My client wants passion and flexibility.
You will have the creativity and background in Pastry to match the service levels provided by the Front of House Team and the facilities reputation. You will be responsible for Fine Dining, Afternoon Teas and informal dining. You will enjoy a strong relationship with the Head Chef and relish the opportunity to develop your own skills as well as the junior members of the pastry team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation in pastry whether it be petit fours or artizian breads or A La Carte desserts. You will have key health and safety responsibilites and some ordering and stock control.
The salary on offer is £29000-£31000 per annum. You will work 5 days out of 7. The shifts will be split and straight.
If you match the following criteria, then this position may be for you:-
* 4 years restaurant and private dining experience at three rosette minimum
* Currently in a role as Head Chef or Senior Sous Pastry
* Recognised qualifications
* Effective Communicator
* Self-motivated and disciplined
* Legal Right to work in E.U.(Documentary proof may be needed)
