The nitty gritty

The Spread Eagle is located in the heart of England, on the outskirts of the quaint town of Corby. This picturesque pub boasts a large impactful beer garden which is a huge draw for trade in the summer months, where take can rise to £30k and beyond.

The interior of the pub is split into 2 distinct areas, with the bar area on one side and the restaurant on the other. It also features a decent sized children’s play area which helps drive family trade. The pub is full of character and offers a great opportunity for someone to take it to the next level. The pub is also due to have a refurbishment later this year.
 
The Spread Eagle has good road links with several dual carriageways, and is just 6 miles from the A14 at Kettering. This well-known business attracts customers from a wide geographical area, as well as benefiting from housing estates on the doorstep, resulting in a strong drinks trade. The pub has developed a diverse customer base from families and pensioners to young adults and professionals.

The ideal candidate will be someone with a solid high volume food-led background, but someone who is also capable of developing the drinking side of the business. We’re looking for a manager who has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and has a proven track record of building, developing and leading a committed and loyal team.
